Important Safety Information

If you have an implanted medical device (e.g., a pacemaker), read and follow the warning entitled “Interference with implanted medical devices” below before using your headphones.

Children. These headphones are not a toy and should not be used by children under the age of 13. This product contains small magnets and should be kept out of the reach of children under age 3. Seek immediate medical help if magnets are swallowed or inhaled. Magnets sticking together or becoming attached to a metallic object inside the human body can cause serious personal injury or death.Volume and hearing loss. Listening to sound at a high volume can permanently damage your hearing. Background noise and consistent exposure to high volumes can make the volume on your headphones seem lower than it actually is. Always begin with your headphones at a low volume and turn it up slowly, stopping before you reach a high volume.

Interference with implanted medical devices. Your headphones contain magnets and they also emit radio waves, both of which may interfere with implanted medical devices like pacemakers, defibrillator’s, and programmable shunt valves.  Consult your doctor before using this product if you have an implanted medical device.

Do not attempt repairs.  If any part of your product is or appears to be damaged, stop use immediately.  Do not attempt to take apart, open, service, or modify the product or accessories.  Doing so could present the risk of electric shock or fire, which could result in property damage, serious personal injury, or death.

Cable and Cord Safety.  Arrange all charging cables and cords so that people and pets are not likely to trip over or accidentally pull on them as they move around or walk through the area.  Do not allow children to play with charging cables and cords.  Take care not to pull on the charging cord when the headphones are charging.  To avoid damaging the charging cords or being injured by them, take the following precautions:

Protect the cords from being walked on;

Protect cords from being pinched or sharply bent, particularly where they connect to the charging device;

Do not jerk, knot, sharply bend, or otherwise abuse the cords;

Do not expose the cords to sources of heat;

Do not modify the wall adapter;

Keep children and pets away from the cords.  Do not allow them to bite or chew on them;

If a cord becomes damaged in any way, stop using it immediately; and

Unplug your device during lighting storms or when unused for long periods of time.

Failure to follow these precautions could result in property damage, serious personal injury, or even death caused by (1) tripping on the cords, (2) damage to the cords that results in smoke or a fire, or (3) damage to the cord that results in electrical shocks.

Battery Safety.  See Battery Usage Instructions and Safety for instructions and safety information.

Distraction. Your headphones may minimize noise other than the content you are listening to through the headphones. This can cause you to be less aware of and able to respond to your surroundings. Do not use your headphones in any area where your full attention is needed.  For example, do not use your headphones while you are driving, operating heavy machinery, or in an area, such as a construction site, where your full attention is needed to be safe.  Failure to follow this warning could result in serious personal injury or death.

Skin irritation.  Constant or repetitive use of your headphones can cause pain or irritation around where your headphones contact your skin. If you experience pain or discomfort while wearing your headphones take them off immediately and keep them off for several hours. If the pain or discomfort continues, see a doctor.

Charging.  Charging your headphones using chargers not designed for them can cause your headphones to heat up and, in some cases, cause a fire, which could result in property damages, serious personal injury, and even death. The included wall adapter (model number 1704) has input voltage of 100-240Vac, 50/60hz and 0.5A. Its output is 5.0V 3.0A. Only use the charger included with your headphones to charge it.  Replacement chargers can be purchased here:  Do not charge your headphones unattended. Do not charge your device during lightning storms, as the device may become overcharged, which could result in a fire or smoke. Do not use the included wall adapter in a confined space, such as in a book case or similar piece of furniture, as it may result in overheating that could cause a fire or smoke, which may result in property damages, serious personal injury, or death.

Other devices.  If using a mobile phone or other wireless devices connected to your headphones, refer to and follow the warnings, safety information, and instructions for that wireless device.  Failure to do so may result in property damage, serious personal injury, or death.

Water and Moisture.  Your headphones are not waterproof.  If water or foreign objects get inside your headphones, it could cause fire or electric shock, which could result in property damage or serious personal injury.  If your headphones get wet, water and/or other liquids may penetrate the outer shell and damage the battery and charging connections. If your headphones or electronic accessories have gotten wet or appear damaged in any way, stop use immediately.  In particular, to reduce the risk of fire or shock as a result of the headphones or included charger being exposed to water or moisture, follow the following precautions:

Do not use the headphones or charger near water.

Do not expose the headphones or charger to rain or moisture.

Do not attempt to dry the headphones or charger with a hair dryer or a microwave oven, as doing so could result in an explosion or fire.

Do not use around a sink or other water—be careful that your headphones or charger do not fall into a sink or container filled with water.

Do not use in the rain or snow or in humid locations.

Do not use while you are excessively sweaty—do not touch your headphones or charger with wet hands or put your headphones or charger in the pocket of a damp article of clothing.

Failure to follow these precautions could result in property damage or serious personal injury.
